TNPF Emergency Assistance Fund

Applications for the TNPF Emergency Assistance Fund grants are now being accepted. Any current Texas Nurse Practitioner Member who is a victim of a disaster may apply to the TNPF Emergency Assistance Fund. You can read more about eligibility and application requirements and apply here:

Temporary APRN Licensure & PAA Waivers

For the duration of the Hurricane Harvey disaster declaration, the Governor has approved a temporary waiver of certain state requirements for prescription authority agreements (PAA) between supervising physicians and physician assistants and/or APRNs. Also, any out-of-state nurse with a license in good standing is not required to hold a Texas license in order to practice nursing in a disaster relief effort operation setting.
